So many of my favorite memories with him are tied to flowers, driving out to trails just to catch a bloom at its peak, hiking until we’re both exhausted, and then posing him by the flowers so I can take photos. Those moments are everything to me. They’re quiet, happy, and full of the kind of love that’s hard to explain unless you’ve felt it. Even our last name, Flores, feels like it ties into that part of our story.
